For our prop assignment we needed to design 5 props in the theme we were given. I needed to design 5 weapons in the time of the Middle ages (Gothic).
3D
I choose 5 designs and worked these out in 3D. I choose 2 weapons to represent the Royal side and two weapons to represent the Poor people. Then I choose two daggers that represent the combination of the two. That two completely different type of people can still work together.
SILOUETTES
For my designs I wanted to show the big difference between the poor and the rich people. For the "Royal" side I choose to be more decorative and to really "show off" how expensive the weapons are. For the "Poor"side I wanted to make them look like they are from scratch. I wanted to mak them look like they are made with only 3 materials and to show that they don't have that much money as the royal side.
